Refund Policy

1. Web purchases

Credit packs and subscriptions purchased on our website are sold by Dodo Payments, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments handles payment, invoicing and refunds. Purchases are subject to Dodo Payments' Buyer Terms.

2. Refund window and digital content

Consumers may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Where applicable consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal, that right applies under Dodo Payments' Buyer Terms. Statutory periods may differ; applicable consumer law takes precedence.

Where permitted by applicable law and with the required consent and acknowledgement, for credit packs and monthly plans, the right of withdrawal ends once you start using the digital content, for example by spending credits or generating a song. For the first payment of a yearly web subscription, spending credits or generating songs during the 14-day window does not remove the right of withdrawal described in section 3; the deduction covers the first month. Unused credit packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. For partially used packs, a refund of the unused portion may be granted at our or Dodo Payments' discretion.

3. Subscriptions

For monthly plans, the 14-day refund right applies to the initial subscription payment, subject to the digital content exception above. Renewals are not refunded except where required by law. You can cancel at any time through your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Cancellation by itself is not a refund. For the first payment of a yearly subscription purchased on our website through Dodo Payments, you may withdraw within 14 days of that payment through your account (Profile) or by contacting support at hello@aluya.app. The refund is the amount actually paid minus one month of use: the deduction is the amount paid multiplied by the monthly plan price divided by the yearly plan price (at yearly $99.99 and monthly $9.99, approximately $90 is refunded). The refund cannot exceed the amount the payment provider can still refund. After withdrawal, the plan will not renew; access and the first month's credits remain available until 30 days after the payment, then end. Using credits or generating songs during the 14-day window does not remove this right. Refunds are processed through Dodo Payments to the original payment method; timing depends on the provider and bank. This yearly withdrawal rule does not apply to renewals, monthly plans, credit packs, or App Store or Google Play purchases.

4. Failed generations

If a generation permanently fails (failed render) due to a system/infrastructure technical error, the spent credits are automatically returned to your account balance, as described in our Terms of Service.

5. App Store and Google Play purchases

Refunds for Apple App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund rules. We cannot refund these purchases directly.

6. Consumer rights and contact

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
